With one of the most diverse studentbodies in the nation, we seek to recruit and retain a diversecommunity of scholars. We seek experienced and ambitious colleagueswhose research and teaching are strategically aligned with ourongoing work to address educational disparities. Descriptions foreach position are presented below. Successful applicants for thetenure-track positions will have a sustained record of securingexternal funding and a strong record of mentoring and publishingwith students; priority will be placed on tenured candidateapplications. Substantive teaching experience in the case of theclinical posting is preferred.Our Department houses three programs: K-12 Leadership, HigherEducation Leadership and Policy Studies, and Special Populations.We seek one tenured or tenure-track colleagues in K-12 Leadershipwho shares our Department’s philosophical aim to strengtheneducational opportunities and outcomes for all students,particularly those historically underserved by current local,state, national, and international educational and socialsystems.We welcome applicants who utilize a full range of qualitative,quantitative, and mixed methodological approaches. While a broadset of research areas will be considered, priority will be placedon applicants whose scholarship (a) addresses issues of equity andadequacy related to student access, retention, and success; (b)evaluates and contributes to educational policy development andimplementation; and/or (c) investigates issues salient to theexperiences and educational outcomes of historically underservedstudents.
